Join us for our next social on Sunday 6 March from 4-6pm at  Matthew’s Yard right by West Croydon station and bus terminal.

Join us for a chance to:

  • meet with others at all stages of their sustainability journey,
  • hear about plans for our monthly pop up Sustainability Hub (launching on 26 March),
  • help us work out the instructions for the new sustainability-themed game we’ve received,
  • share ideas, including how we can make items such as flyer holders for the pop-up hubs,
  • suggest ideas and have your questions answered,
  • find out how to get more involved, if you wish.

You’ll be able to order from Matthews Yard’s delicious food and drinks menu which is completely vegan, although dairy milk for drinks is offered.

You can drop in and out as you wish.

We really hope you can make it!

Can you help us by making flyer holders for our monthly pop-up sustainable living hub?

Our aim is to make our event as eco-friendly and sustainable as possible.

That’s why we are encouraging attendees to bring along their own reusable cups for refreshments and containers to take the delicious bakes on offer home.

You’ll have the chance to drop off a variety of Terracycle waste items too – currently not recyclable at Croydon’s Reuse and Recycle Centres or via kerbside collections.  See Terracycle’s website if you’re interested.

We’d love your help to make reusable plastic-free A5 flyer holders for the event. A prototype can be found here:

Can you better it?

Can you produce a template and guide for us to share?

And if you’d like to get more involved in the monthly pop up hub, do get in touch! Email us at SustainableThorntonHeath@gmail.com or pop along to our next social at Matthews Yard on 6 March to find out more.
